Legal action considered over Eldora expansion

NEDERLAND, Colo. (AP) — Environmental activists are considering legal action to stop the proposed Eldora Mountain ski area expansion.

The Middle Boulder Creek Coalition and the Sierra Club Indian Peaks Group say the resort can continue to grow within its current boundaries.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports (http://tinyurl.com/lucyzsw) environments fear potential damage to the riparian environment and associated wildlife corridor along Middle Boulder Creek that could result from expansion that could include a new detachable six-chair ski lift.
