Chainsaw-wielding nun helps clean up Florida community after Irma

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — It isn’t everyday you stumble across a chainsaw-wielding nun.

That’s what one off-duty police officer in Miami encountered this week.

Sister Margaret Ann of Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School was in fact wielding a chainsaw, but she was just helping clean up debris after Hurricane Irma knocked down trees in the area.

“As we recover from Hurricane Irma, these acts of kindness remind us all that we are #OneCommunity in #MiamiDadeCounty! Thank you Sister and all of our neighbors that are working together to get through this! #MiamiDadeStrong” the police department captioned the photo.
