COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Budweiser will be re-labeling its beer this summer with “Colorado” on the side of bottles and cans.

The special packaging will be available through the end of September and celebrates the local states Budweiser and its breweries call home.

“Our new state bottles and cans celebrate the homes of our breweries and the communities that support them,” said Ricardo Marques, vice president of Budweiser. “Since 1876, Budweiser has been proudly brewed across America, and this summer, we’re inviting local consumers to raise a cold one with us.”

In addition to renaming the can and bottle, the center medallion “AB” monogram will be updated with Colorado’s initials, “King of Beers” will be swapped to include Colorado’s state motto, and “Anheuser-Busch Inc.” will be replaced with Colorado’s nickname.
