Investigators asking for help identifying young woman found dead in Colorado mountains

IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help identifying a young woman who was found dead along Highway 103 in Clear Creek County earlier this month.

Investigators said a driver found the body near the road on April 8. Investigators are not releasing the cause of death, but said she may have been the victim of a homicide.

The victim is described as a biracial female between 15 and 25 years old. She had black hair and was wearing a black weave. Each of her ears was double-pierced. She was wearing a black t-shirt with images of Marilyn Monroe, guns, and marijuana leaves on the front.

Investigators have searched local, state, and national databases, but have not been able to identify the woman.
