Snowstorm knocks out power to thousands in Pikes Peak region

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A wet snowstorm knocked out power to thousands of southern Colorado residents Tuesday.

Here are your latest updates as of Wednesday afternoon:

About 10 Colorado Springs Utilities customers are without power across the city. Tap here for a Colorado Springs Utilities outage map. 

Fewer than 20 San Isabel Electric customers are without power mostly in the Rye, Beulah and Wetmore areas. Customers should call 1-800-279-7432 to report outages.

Black Hills Energy reports around 86 customers in Pueblo and 6 customers in Cañon City are without power. Officials anticipate having power for everyone back on by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Fountain utilities reports intermittent outages in the area east of Highway 85/87 and north of Mesa Ridge Parkway.
