Police: Transient man stabs restaurant employee in downtown Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A downtown restaurant employee was stabbed in the chest by a transient man Sunday evening, according to police.

It happened around 7:15 p.m. in an alley between Tejon Street and Nevada Avenue. Police said the victim’s coworkers held the suspect down until officers arrived. The suspect, Christopher Munoz, was arrested without further incident. The victim was hospitalized and is in stable condition.
