Premiere of ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ canceled amid video controversy

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — It was supposed to be a family feel-good movie.

“A Dog’s Purpose” was set to be released this weekend, but after some behind-the-scenes footage of a dog being forced in the water during filming surfaced, people are upset and creators have canceled the premiere.

One of the film’s voice actors, Josh Gad, tweeted after he saw the video.
