PUEBLO, Colo. — Forty stranded bus passengers were aided by Pueblo County Sheriff’s deputies early Sunday morning after the bus on which they were traveling broke down on I-25.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Pueblo police responded to a call around 12:30 a.m. saying the bus broke down on the interstate north of the Belmont exit, leaving them stranded for nearly an hour in dangerously cold temperatures.
Authorities transported the men, women and children to a local hotel for the night.
The passenger bus is operated by the El Paso-Los Angeles Limousine Express Inc.
