US Honor Flag traveling to Colorado for fallen trooper’s memorial service

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The U.S. Honor Flag will be in Colorado for Trooper Cody Donahue’s memorial service.

The flag is traveling from New Mexico, and will enter Colorado on Thursday at 11:40 a.m. It will stop at 1206 Interquest Parkway in northern Colorado Springs at 2:17 p.m. It will depart Colorado Springs at 2:32 p.m.

Donahue was hit and killed by a truck while investigating another crash on Interstate 25 just south of Castle Rock Friday.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene in Englewood.

Gov. John Hickenlooper has ordered all flags on public buildings to be flown at half-staff on Friday in honor of Donahue.
