Pueblo police looking for man who robbed convenience store at gunpoint

PUEBLO, Colo. — Police are looking for the man who robbed a Pueblo convenience store at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

The robbery happened around 10:15 a.m. at the GoFer convenience store on Abriendo Avenue. Police said the man grabbed a woman who was as the counter and held her at gunpoint while demanding money from the clerk.

The man ran from the store after the robbery. Police said no injuries were reported.

Police searched the area but could not find the suspect. He is described as a heavyset black man, about 6 feet tall, with dreadlocks or braided hair. He was wearing a black and grey jacket with an Oakland Raiders logo on the back.

Witnesses told police they’d seen the suspect wandering in the area recently. Police think he may live in the area.
