COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Colorado Springs club opened its doors and hosted Thanksgiving dinner Thursday night.
For the fourth year in a row, Club Q Colorado Springs put on this community dinner. This year, they teamed up with local nonprofits to provide more than 100 dinners to anyone regardless of age, race, or sexual orientation.
“We are a family,” Koriandir Xaris said. “We accept you whoever you are, whatever you are, however you are, and we provide that sense of family that sometimes people have lost due to their situation.”
Leftovers from the dinner were donated to shelters to feed the homeless.
