COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police have arrested a man who they say robbed two Colorado Springs businesses within 30 minutes Tuesday evening.

The first robbery happened around 6:30 p.m. at Gen X Clothing at South Academy Boulevard and Chelton Road. Police said a man selected several pieces of clothing, pointed a black handgun at the clerk, and took the clothes without paying.

Police said the second robbery happened around 6:55 p.m. just across the street, at Christal’s adult entertainment store.

Police identified the suspect in both robberies as Rodney Sinder, 36. He was arrested without incident at a nearby hotel. Police said they recovered items linking him to both robberies.
