These are the year’s best stores for Black Friday shopping, survey says

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Black Friday is just days away.

This year, the National Retail Foundation expects total retail sales for the holiday season to reach around $655.8 billion, an increase from nearly $631 billion in 2015.

WalletHub surveyed 8,000 deals from 35 of the biggest U.S. retailers’ 2016 Black Friday ads and ranked the best retailers.

Macy’s tops the list, offering a nearly 64 percent discount to shoppers, followed closely by Stage and JCPenney.

Big Lots offers the least savings, averaging around 23.5 percent savings to consumers.
