Two stolen cars found, three people arrested in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. — Three people were arrested and two stolen cars recovered after police received information that a wanted person was living in a Pueblo home.

Police received the information Tuesday that the wanted person was possibly located at 2205 West 14th Street in Pueblo’s west side.

At the address, officers found vehicles on the property that were listed as stolen.

Detectives were called to the scene and a search warrant was written for the address and executed by the members of the Pueblo Police Department SWAT team, according to authorities.

After negotiations with the people inside, SWAT officers were able to get the individuals outside.

Two people were arrested for their warrants. Ted Heredia, 20, was arrested on a Colorado Springs warrant for charges of possession with the intent to distribute.

Celisa Gallegos, 29, was arrested on two failure to appear warrants for theft and dangerous drugs. She has other pending charges.

Mario Vigil, 44, a August Safe Street Wanted Criminal, was arrested on first degree aggravated motor vehicle theft and ‘chop shop’-related offenses.

Police have also recovered auto theft tools.

The investigation is ongoing.
