COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Parks and Wildlife is encouraging everyone to get outside and enjoy fresh air the day after Thanksgiving by offering free admission to all 42 Colorado state parks on November 25.

“It is a long-time Colorado tradition to get outside,” said CPW Director Bob Broscheid. “This Black Friday we invite you to start a new family tradition of enjoying the Colorado state parks together for free if you aren’t shopping.”

More than 50 retailers both state and nationwide are closing their doors on Black Friday, urging people to go outside instead of joining shopping crowds this year.
