Hit-and-run driver sought in Adams County crash

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — Colorado State Patrol is asking witnesses to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash Friday to come forward.

It happened just before 9 p.m. in the area of West 66th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard.

Troopers say a 53-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries after she was hit by a car.

The car is described as a 2009 black or grey BMW sedan, with likely damage to the front end, hood and/or windshield.

The driver is an unidentified man. Authorities do not have a description of him at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.
