$10,000 reward offered for info about Colorado Springs gun store burglary

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Federal officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the people who broke into a Colorado Springs gun store in September.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said the burglary happened around 2:20 a.m. September 23 at Colorado Springs Guns and Ammo on Bloomington Street. At least five people used a stolen Ford Fusion to break into the store. They took about 17 handguns, rifles and shotguns.

No suspect descriptions are available.

Anyone with information is asked to call the ATF tip line at 1-800-ATF-GUNS (283-4867), Colorado Springs police at 719-444-7000, or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867).

The ATF is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
