Woodland Park man arrested on attempted homicide charges

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Woodland Park man who was wanted for strangling a woman during a fight has been arrested, according to police.

Daniel Brasche, 33, was arrested Wednesday by Colorado Springs police. He was wanted for several crimes, including attempted second-degree homicide. The charges stem from an incident earlier this month, when Brasche assaulted a woman repeatedly and strangled her until she lost consciousness, according to police.
