Two teens facing charges for social media threat against Falcon High School

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Two teens are facing charges for making a social media threat against Falcon High School earlier this month.

The sheriff’s office learned about the threat, which was circulating on social media, on October 7. The message stated instructions must be followed, or teachers, students, principals, and guests would be killed on October 31.

Deputies investigated the threat and determined two teens were responsible. They have been charged with interference with school, faculty, or students of educational institutions and harassment.

“We feel there is no longer a valid threat to Falcon High School and would like to remind all parents to be monitoring your children’s social media accounts,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
