Mike Pence visits Colorado Springs again as election nears

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo — Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence was in Colorado Springs Wednesday.

A couple hundred people came out to see what he had to say about this election.

A lot of passion was in the room as Trump supporters came out in force to see who they hope to become the next Vice President of the United States.

During the rally, Pence stuck to the message that’s been central to the Trump campaign – the creation of jobs, protecting the constitution, and listing reasons why Hillary Clinton isn’t fit to be president.

In our exclusive interview with him after the rally Pence listed several more important topics he thinks Coloradans should pay attention to when deciding who to vote for come November 8.

“Donald Trump and I have a plan to cut taxes, repeal Obamacare, end the war on American energy, roll back this tide of regulation that’s stifling American jobs, and have the kind of trade deals that will support American workers first, and I think that choice for people here in Colorado is a dramatic one,” said Pence.

With less than two weeks till Election Day this might be one of the last times we see Mike Pence or Donald Trump in Colorado, but with how important they view our state to the election, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them here again before election day.
