BACA COUNTY, Colo. — Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that left two people with serious injuries Saturday.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. on Baca County Road J, about 10 miles west of Campo.

Officials say a 2006 Dodge pickup truck, drive by 20-year-old Braelen Fisher if Springfield, Colorado, was traveling eastbound when it veered off the north side of the road and collided into a bridge guardrail. The truck rolled on the roadway before coming to rest on its wheels.

Both Fisher and the passenger, 24-year-old Austin Schroder of Campo, Colorado, were ejected from the truck, according to authorities.

Neither occupant was wearing their seatbelt, officials said.

Both Fisher and Schroeder were transported to Swedish Medical Center in Denver with serious injuries.

Officials say speed does not appear to be a factor; the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
