Two accused of burglarizing Colorado Springs business

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Two people were arrested Tuesday after they were caught burglarizing a Colorado Springs business, according to police.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. at Layton Truck Equipment on Platte Place. Employees of a security company were watching live surveillance camera footage when they saw two people breaking into vehicles inside an enclosed area of the property. The security company employees called police.

When officers arrived, they saw the two suspects walking away from the property and arrested them. Police identified the suspects as Gary Anderson, 24, and Zack Canary, 32. Both are charged with first-degree criminal trespass, possession of burglary tools, and second-degree criminal trespass.
