Police investigating overnight shooting in southeastern Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police are looking for a suspect in an overnight shooting that left one man injured.

It happened just before 3 a.m.Thursday near the intersection of Clarendon Drive and Melville Drive. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the leg, just above the knee. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim told police he didn’t know the suspects or know why they shot him.

No suspects have been located. The investigation is ongoing.
