PUEBLO, Colo. — Pueblo police have arrested a person of interest in a homicide early Tuesday morning.

The investigation began around 4:20 a.m., when police got a call about someone dealing with “emotional problems” at a home on Alexander Circle. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot and killed. As they started to set up a perimeter, a man ran out of the basement and out the back of the house.

Police identified the man as Lorin Predovich, 43. Police said he had several warrants for his arrest. Predovich was arrested later Tuesday morning in the area of Bonforte Boulevard and Hunter Drive.

The investigation into the homicide is ongoing.

Ben Franklin Elementary School, which is just across the street, was delayed for two hours Tuesday morning due to the investigation.
