Osage Gardens recalls micro greens after salmonella bacteria found

NEW CASTLE, Colo. — Colorado-based Osage Gardens has recalled two-ounce packages of Micro Greens after a routine sampling by the FDA discovered salmonella bacteria in the product.

The packages, packed in a clear plastic clamshell with a label on the bottom with UPC Code 709376615008, were distributed to Whole Foods stores in Colorado and Kansas.

The affected products are dated with Julian codes from 266 to 279.

No illnesses have been reported, according to the FDA.

Consumers who purchased the recalled products are urged to throw it away or return it for a full refund.
