PUEBLO, Colo. — Three people were arrested after they crashed a stolen truck into four cars, including two police cars, while leading police on a chase through downtown Pueblo Sunday night.

Police said it started just before 7 p.m., when they went to the Sonic on Oakshire Lane to investigate an armed robbery. Officers spotted the suspects’ truck and tried to pull it over, but the driver refused to stop. Officers chased the truck through downtown and the southside, where it hit two police cruisers and two civilian cars. Shots were also fired during the chase. Police did not say who fired the shots.

The truck finally came to a stop on Lakeview Avenue. Police arrested the three people inside–a man and two women.

One of the women was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the incident. A Pueblo police officer was also hospitalized with minor injuries. No one was injured by the shots fired, according to police.

Police said the truck had been reported stolen in Otero County.
