Pueblo police: Shooting that injured man was gang-related

PUEBLO, Colo. — A man was injured in a shooting in Pueblo Thursday morning.

Police said it happened around 6:30 a.m. on Pine Street. The victim, a 35-year-old man, was standing in a front yard when a car pulled up. A man got out of the car and shot at the victim several times before driving away.

The victim was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

Police said the incident appears to be gang-related.

The suspect is described as a bald, light-skinned Hispanic man, about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 185 pounds, with tattoos on his arms and a tattoo across the top of his back. He was driving a green car, possibly a Pontiac G6, with dark tinted windows and black rims.
