Donald Trump speaks in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Donald Trump held a rally at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs Friday afternoon.

Trump reacted on Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech Thursday night at the DNC.

“How do you lie to the FBI and now you’re running for president?” said Trump.

The Republican presidential candidate took the stage at the Gallogly Event Center around 2:50 p.m. The event was scheduled to start at 2 p.m.

Trump claimed he has more supporters than Clinton and spoke to the crowd about why he is better fit to be president. He also spoke about his want for tougher immigration law.

“We’ve got a lot of smart people, let em build a wall, we will,” said Trump.

Speakers including Benghazi attack survivor Mark Geist, Rep. Doug Lamborn, and U.S. Senate candidate Darryl Glenn took the stage before Trump.

Trump supporters at the event said they want his leadership and business expertise.

“The fact that he’s not afraid to say what he wants to say, what he wants to say, what his honest heart, to stand there and build us up and say the fights not over yet” said Jill Klopfenstein, who said she will be voting for Trump.
