Deputies looking for man who robbed Pueblo convenience store

PUEBLO, Colo. — Deputies are looking for the man who robbed a Pueblo convenience store at knifepoint early Friday morning.

It happened around 4:40 a.m. at the Loaf ‘N Jug at Santa Fe Drive and 20th Lane. The robber entered the store brandishing a knife, and told the clerk to give him all the money in the register. The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber asked for more money, and when the clerk told him there was no more, he briefly hesitated, then left the store. He was last seen walking west on U.S. 50.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, about 5 feet 10 inches or 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a slender build. He was wearing a dark-colored button-up shirt, black pants, black shoes, a black hat with two holes cut out for the eyes, and black cotton gloves with multicolored stripes.
