Forgery suspect wanted in Highlands Ranch

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Police need your help identifying a suspect in a forgery case.

According to authorities, the suspect passed several forged checks at the Highlands Ranch area Walmart and King Soopers with the fraudulent name of “Nicholas Nasta” printed in the upper left block of the check on April 24.

Police said the suspect also attempted to pass a check at the Walgreens store located at 6650 Timberline Road. The suspect was unsuccessful in passing the check.

He is described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s with light brown or dirty blonde hair with a receding hairline and thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored jacket, tan shorts and sneakers.
