Cheyenne Mountain State Park to host 1st annual Adventure Race

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Cheyenne Mountain State Park is celebrating its 10th anniversary by holding a free Adventure Race this Saturday, June 18.

The family-friendly race will consist of three different team categories: corporate race teams of three to four people, group race teams of two to four people and family race teams of up to 5 people.

Teams will race around the park to partake in fun tasks and activities. Participants will complete a series of stations that are scattered throughout the park; each station will have a different outdoor-related task that each team must complete before finishing the race.

Awards will be given to teams who finish in first, second and third place, as well as an award for best team costume and best individual costume.

After the race, there will be more games, CRAFTS and even food trucks at the Prairie Skipper Picnic Area.

All activities, including park entrance and parking, are free.
