Weapons and $4k worth of heroin seized from Pueblo home

PUEBLO, Colo. — Nearly $4,000 worth of heroin in addition to a slew of weapons and other drug paraphernalia were confiscated by Narcotics and SWAT personnel at a home in Pueblo.

Officers conducted a search at the home of Johnny Maez, 34, and Melissa Tucker, 32, located at 3601 O’Neal Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. During the search, they discovered 38 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, weapons, extra ammunition and a bullet-proof vest.

The couple was arrested Tuesday afternoon and transported to the Pueblo County Detention Center where they face narcotics and weapons charges. Additionally, Tucker will also face a child abuse charge.
