Three cars damaged by shots fired in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Three cars were damaged by shots fired in Colorado Springs early Monday morning, according to police.

Police said several residents called to report gunshots in the area of Ruskin Drive and Whittier Drive around 2 a.m. That’s near the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Pikes Peak Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found several shell casings in the roadway on Ruskin Way. They also found three unoccupied cars that had been hit and damaged by the bullets.

Police said no one was injured in the incident. No suspects have been identified.
