Colorado Springs family gets new Habitat for Humanity home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A family spent their first night in their new home Sunday, thanks to Habitat for Humanity and the Pikes Peak Habitat ReStore.

The new owner and her two daughters used to share a bedroom at her parents’ house. They’re now looking forward to having a little more room to spread out.

The house was dedicated during a ceremony Sunday afternoon.

This is Pikes Peak Habitat’s 138th house in El Paso County.
