Man robs downtown Colorado Springs bank

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A downtown Colorado Springs bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Police said the robbery happened around 3:40 p.m. at the Northstar Bank at the corner of South Tejon Street and Cimarron Street. The suspect is described as a white man in his late 50s to mid 60s. He’s about 6 feet tall with a medium build, and has a full beard with dark and gray whiskers. He was wearing a hat, dark coat, sunglasses, and blue jeans. No surveillance images of him were immediately available.

The suspect was last seen running south from the bank.

Police said no weapons were displayed, and no one was injured in the robbery.
