Four arrested in connection with multiple burglaries across Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Springs police have arrested four people in connection with a string of home burglaries, and they said more arrests are expected.

Police said the burglaries happened across Colorado Springs and El Paso County. The burglars targeted jewelry, TVs, and firearms.

Police have been investigating the burglaries since the beginning of the month. They’ve executed six search warrants and recovered about $15,000 worth of property. Police said hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property is still missing.

Police initially arrested three suspects: 18-year-old Monique Rael, 20-year-old Katrina Abeyta, and 22-year-old Nathaniel Gonzales.

Police previously asked for the public’s help finding a fourth suspect, 22-year-old Gino Rael. Rael was arrested by Colorado Springs police January 27.
