PUEBLO, Colo. — A new craft brewery is opening along the Arkansas Riverwalk in Pueblo.

Brues Alehouse has been open for a few weeks, but the brewery is hosting its grand opening this weekend. The owners describe the business as a craft brewery, restaurant, bakery, and music venue. It’s located in the Old Police Building on the Arkansas Riverwalk.

Craft beers will be brewed and barrel-aged on site. The alehouse’s website lists six different beers currently on tap.

The alehouse will feature a seasonal food menu and live music from all genres. A beer garden will open in the spring.

Co-founders Tony and Marty Garcia said the alehouse will employ about 50 people.

Brues Alehouse joins two other craft breweries in Pueblo: Shamrock Brewing Company on West Third Street, and The Walter Brewing Company on Oneida Street.
