Man shot in foot in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. — Around 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 23 officers were dispatched to the area of 12th and Ogden on a call of shots fired.

According to police, upon arrival to the area, officers made contact with a 29-year-old male victim walking down the street who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound to one of his feet.

Officers stopped a vehicle in the area who they believed to be involved in the incident and are in the process of conducting interviews with the occupants. Two of the occupants had warrants for their arrest.

The male victim was transported to a local hospital.

As a result of the investigation, arrests were made as follows: Devin Nichols, 19, had two warrants for his arrest. One for aggravated motor vehicle theft and another for Larceny totaling $15,000 in bonds. Nichols will face new charges of 2nd degree assault and aggravated robbery. Joshua Willhite, 28, had a failure to appear warrant for dangerous drugs. He will also face new charges of aggravated robbery. Dillon Roebuck, 28, will face charges of aggravated robbery.

All three were transported to the Pueblo County Detention Center.

The fourth party was a 30-year-old female who was released at this time.

Further charges could be forthcoming pending review by the District Attorney’s Office.
