Burglars punch victim when he catches them in the act

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Two burglary suspects punched a man when he caught them in the act Tuesday evening.

Police said the burglary happened around 8 p.m. at an apartment in the 2500-block of Paragon Drive, in the area of Union Boulevard and Vickers Drive. The victim returned home to find two men carrying several of his belongings out of his apartment. The victim confronted the suspects, and they punched him repeatedly before running away, according to police.

The victim was able to recover some of his belongings when the suspects ran away. Police said the victim didn’t know the suspects.

No weapons were involved, and the victim sustained minor injuries.
