COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Bring on the snow and take out the sleds.

Even sledding on snow days beats a day in with the Xbox for some kids.

“Sledding’s like an eight, XBox is like a five,” 12-year-old Hunter Kolbezen said when asked to rate the two activities.

“Sledding would be probably a nine, XBox would be a seven,” 11-year-old Campbell Grage said.

Some even have extensive experience.

“Um, 10 years, 9 years,” Grage said.

Some also call themselves professionals.

“I guess!” Grage said.

We just couldn’t pass up asking for some pointers.

“Earlier I hit the bush right there,” said 12-year-old Campbell Butterworth.

“Um, it hurt, but once you learn how to take the right path it’s all good,” Kolbezen said.

“You just don’t have to be nervous, you’re just sliding on snow,” Grage said.

After it was my turn, I asked what they thought.

“Someone helped you right there, and you were like, that close to the bush,” Kolbezen said.

“You managed to stay on too, pretty impressive,” Grage said.

“Probably held on for dear life,” Butterworth said.
