Police looking for man who pushed stranger, stole her purse

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police are looking for the man who pushed a stranger to the ground and stole her purse Wednesday evening.

Police said the robbery happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 4200-block of Nonchalant Circle North, which is in the area of Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway. The victim, a 29-year-old woman, was approached by a stranger who pushed her down to the ground, grabbed her purse, and ran away.

No suspects have been identified. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call police at 719-444-7000, or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-7867 (STOP).

A similar robbery happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Circle Drive and Galley Road.
