Pueblo police seeking help in recent shootings

PUEBLO, Colo. — Police detectives are seeking information regarding two recent shootings.

On Aug. 31 around 10:30 p.m. police responded to a shooting in the Ivywood and Moore area. Carlos Montoya, 39, was shot as as he was driving his silver BMW. He was then transported to a local hospital and is still recovering. It was reported a red vehicle was involved.

On Sept. 2 around 4 p.m. police responded to Court and Second Street where Isaiah Vialpando was shot and killed. He was also driving a silver BMW and a red vehicle was involved.

Detectives believe the two shootings are connected and are asking anyone with information to come forward. You can submit a online tip at CrimeSupsect.net or call 719-542-7867.
