Muralist draws crowds at Colorado State Fair

PUEBLO, Colo. — A muralist is bringing quite the crowds to the Colorado State Fair.

Ryan “Arcy” Christenson uses spray paint to create his wild creations. All proceeds from the exhibit are donated to the fair association.

The graffiti artist said it’s all about blending your art and bringing it to life.

“People think, oh, it’s just a little green here and a little blue there,” Arcy said. “No. You have to really build those colors and you really have to get the contrast in there. Work from dark to light and all those artsy terms. But when it comes to life, people are just amazed.”

If you want to catch a glimpse of Arcy’s work, you have a few more days. The fair runs through Monday.
