COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — National parks across the country are offering free admission today (Tuesday) in honor of the National Park Service Birthday. The park service is turning 99 years old today.

Entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees will be waived at 127 national parks across the country. Admission to the other parks is always free.

Other fees, like those for registration, camping, tours, and concessions, will still be in effect.
