Suspect arrested after theft victim tracks stolen property

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A theft suspect was arrested after a victim tracked his stolen property to the suspect’s location, according to police.

Police said around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, the victim of a vehicle break-in contacted them and told them he had tracked some of his stolen property to a location inside a vehicle in the 400-block of West Garden of the Gods Road.

Officers went to the vehicle and found it occupied by Robert Mack, 20. Officers said they also saw more stolen property inside the vehicle.

Mack was arrested without incident.
