Southeastern Colorado Springs pizza restaurant robbed at gunpoint

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A southeastern Colorado Springs pizza restaurant was robbed Saturday night, according to police.

Police said the robbery happened around 9:50 p.m. at the Blackjack Pizza at 2328 South Academy Boulevard, near the intersection with Astrozon Boulevard. The victim called police around 10:20 p.m. and told them the suspect had entered the store holding a gun down by his side, told her it was a robbery, and demanded all the money.

The suspect took the money and walked out of the store headed northeast.

No one was injured in the robbery.
