Homeless sexually violent predator moves to Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. — A homeless sexually violent predator has moved to Pueblo, according to police.

Police said Phillip Vigil, 34, was recently released from the Colorado Department of Corrections. He is registered as homeless in Pueblo. Police said Vigil, also known as Poncho Vigil, is unemployed and does not have a vehicle.

Police said Vigil was convicted of sexually assaulting a girl. He has also been convicted of burglary, theft, assault, and a restraining order violation.

Vigil is described as a white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 235 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes and multiple tattoos.
