Authorities rescue Coloradan from greasy situation

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A Coloradan got himself in a greasy situation early Saturday morning.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, Andrew Neely, 22, was rescued after falling through the roof of a popular Fort Collins restaurant.

Officials tell the Fort Collins Coloradoan that Neely fell through the Pueblo Viejo roof and got himself lodged in a greasy kitchen air duct.

“He is right above the fryer,” firefighters told the Fort Collins Coloradoan.

Shortly after making contact with Neely, crews were able to dismantle the exhaust vents and lower him down.

Thankfully, Neely was not injured during this incident, however, Neely was cited for trespassing, according to officials.
