Man stabbed during fight in Fountain

FOUNTAIN, Colo. — A man was stabbed during a fight with an acquaintance Wednesday morning.

Police said the incident happened around 1:10 a.m. at a home in the 1600-block of Prado Drive. Two men got into an argument, and one stabbed the other in the neck, thigh, and calf. The suspect then stole the victim’s vehicle and crashed it on Interstate 25 near mile marker 112, which is just north of Pueblo West.

The suspect and victim were both hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the two men were acquaintances, and there’s no threat to the general public.
