COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — CDOT presented its plans for the I-25/Cimarron Street interchange project to the El Paso County Board of Commissioners Tuesday.

CDOT engineer Doug Lollar told the board that most of the work being done between now and March will be off the roadway, so traffic impacts will be minimal. The major roadway construction work will begin in March and be mostly completed by the end of 2017, according to Lollar.

CDOT has scheduled an open house for the public to view the final project plans and ask questions. It will be Tuesday, May 26 from 5-7 p.m. at the Colorado Springs City Auditorium at 221 East Kiowa Street. A presentation is scheduled for 5:30.
